FIFTH AND FINAL DAY IN EQUATORIAL GUINEA
Day 5: After a long night's rest, we checked out of our hotel and prepared for our last day here. Since we had enough of the city, we decided to visit Arena Blanca, a very scenic beach. People are right whenever they say going to the beach is like a visiting a therapist. We ate barbecue, took a walk and buried ourselves in sand. Then we left paradise and drove back to Malabo, where we boarded our plane and said goodbye to Equatorial Guinea and its friendly people. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends!

FOURTH DAY IN EQUATORIAL GUINEA
| Sorry, I couldn't take a picture of what I did today. |
Day 4: Yet another in the adventure that we called vacation! After we checked out of our hotel, we went to the Museum of Biyabiyan. There were a lot of interesting things, including African artifacts from over 2000 years ago, like flywhisks, gold masks, and scepters. Unfortunately, we couldn't take any pictures of the museum or the artifacts or the actual building due to the law. We revisited Semu Mercado and found new shopkeepers, stands and products. Now we see counterfeit products in instead of indigenous clothing or jewelry. We. drove out of Malabo to Luba, a small town that I will tell you about in tomorrow's post

THIRD DAY IN EQUATORIAL GUINEA
Day 3: Now that we are getting used to the business of the city we decided to walk to the Santa Isabel cathedral in the city plaza. The cathedral is based on the designs of Spanish cathedrals of long, long ago. Due to local laws, we weren't able to take pictures of the interior of the cathedral nor were able to take pictures of the City Hall. That would've made an awesome picture stream. The City Hall is also a beautiful building, where the dictator (aka the President) makes immoral (yet not illegal) choices about human rights. For example, he can arrest anybody without charging them with a crime, and every citizen has to consider him a god. Either way, we had a good time today and can't wait till tomorrow!

SECOND DAY IN EQUATORIAL GUINEA
Day 2: After waking up exhausted after the plane flight, we decided to go drive around the city after breakfast, which was a good move! The plaza is beautiful in the morning whenever it isn't swarmed with a lot of people. The picture above is one of the pictures we took in the plaza whenever it was empty. Isn't it nice! Later, we explored the bright fabrics and exotic fruit of Semu Mercado, the place to go if you like outlandish customs, foods and clothes (which we do!). The shopkeepers were very nice, and we blew a lot of money on new clothes and those little souvenir keychains that light up.

First Day in Malabo!
Hello to y'all from Equatorial Guinea, the only country in Africa that speaks Spanish! We just came to the hotel (the VERY fancy Sofitel Malabo Sipopo Le Golf) exhausted and drained. However, we had just enough time to snap some pictures and drive along the city and meet the people. We even saw the Santa Isabel Cathedral, but we will visit it tomorrow, we are too tired today!
